MAINE OUTPOST CABINS
The Bradford Camps has Maine outpost camps available for our guests on nearby Reed Pond where excellent trout fishing awaits the fly fishing and spin casting angler. Reed Pond is reached only by Float Plane or long bushwhack and thus assures the angler of a truly remote day or overnight fishing experience. Our camp guests may stay at this cabin anytime during their stay.
Guides often are hired for a day away on a remote pond. Our guides are registered with the state, professional and courteous, and they know where the fish and game are. Please ask us ahead of time about the cabins, and consider a Maine Guide for all or part of your stay.
Reed Pond is a very special place to us at Bradford Camps. It is in the center of the largest old growth forest in New England. This 5,000 acre wild forest is managed by The Nature Conservancy and has virtually never seen an axe. The comfortable cabin, good trout fishing and spectacular beauty of Reed Pond make an overnight stay the highlight of your trip.
